In the morning,

Nose is dry, bloody, and burned

Head throbs, body sore

We drank the ocean,

Snorted the sky,

Smoked the Earth, and more

A vacation, an escape

In other words, a rebirth

So, it is only fitting we should wake

Crying like the newborn.
